On Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 8:00 AM, the 5K Race will start on Charles Lindbergh Blvd outside the Cradle of Aviation Museum.  5K Participants will go west following Charles Lindbergh Blvd around the curve passing the Nassau County Social Services building and the back of Hofstra University to Earle Ovington Blvd..  5K racers will turn left onto Earle Ovington Blvd and angle east as they merge back onto Charles Lindbergh Blvd facing east adjacent to the Nassau Coliseum.

The 5K Race course will have participants make a u-turn near the Marriott Hotel (at approximately the same location as the Marathon / Half Marathon start on Sunday) putting participants on the west-bound side of Charles Lindbergh Blvd again, until the entrance to the Mitchel Athletic Complex.

5K Race participants will turn left into the Mitchel Athletic Complex and head directly to the finish line located right on the track inside the Mitchel Athletic Complex.
